There are many different ways the customer can use our Services. When the customer shares information with us, we can improve our Services offered to our customers, such as tailoring our Services to show relevant results. As the customer uses our Services, we want the customer to be clear how we are using information and the ways in which the customer can protect her/her/its privacy.

Our Privacy Policy includes:

  • Information we collect
  • How we use information we collect
  • Information we share
  • Information security
  • Information choices and changes
  • Our contact information
  • When this Privacy Policy applies
  • Compliance and cooperation with regulatory authorities

Information we collect

We collect information to provide better Services to all of our customers. We typically collect information in one of two ways:

Information the customer gives us. For example, many of our Services require the customer to sign up for an account or create a user profile. When the customer does so, we may ask for personal information, like the customer’s name, email address, telephone number and other personal information.

Information we get from the customer’s use of our Services and website. We collect information about the Services that the customer uses and how the customer uses them. For example, we may log your computer or device operating system type, IP address, browser type, browser language, the website you visited before browsing to our website, pages you viewed, access times, and information about your use of and actions on our website.

This information may include:

Cookies. We may automatically collect information using “cookies.” Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive by a website. Among other things, cookies help us make our website and your experience better. We use those cookies to collect information about when you visit our website, when you use the Services, your browser type and version, your operating system, and other similar information. You may turn off cookies that have been placed on your computer by following the instructions on your browser, but if you block our cookies, it may be more difficult (and maybe even impossible) to use the Services.

Web Beacons. When we send emails to our customers, we will sometimes track who opened the emails and who clicked the links. We do that to measure our marketing campaign performance and to improve our features for specific segments of customers. To do this, we include single pixel gifs, also called web beacons, in emails we send. Web beacons allow us to collect information about when you open the email, your IP address, your browser or email client type, and other similar details. Reports are also available to us when we send you email, so we may collect and review that information.

Analytics. We may use analytics services to help analyze how users use the website. These analytics uses cookies and web beacons to collect and store information such as how often users visit the website, what pages they visit, what features they use, and what other sites they used prior to coming to the website. We use the information we get from analytics services to improve our website.

Widgets. We may include widgets from third parties on some pages of the website that allow interaction or information sharing by users. Some of these widgets provide specific services or content from a third party, such as a Facebook “Like” button. Your interaction with these widgets allows the third party to collect some information about you through cookies they placed on your device when you registered for their application or service. In some cases, the third party may recognize you through web beacons on our site or its cookies even when you do not interact with their application. Please visit the third-parties’ respective privacy policies to better understand their data collection practices.

Information from Other Sources. We may get more information about you, like name, age, and participation in social media websites, by searching the internet or querying third parties (we will refer to that information as Supplemental Member Information). We only collect data that is publicly available or provided by a third party according to its terms of use.
