RippleNami announces the closing of its preferred series seed round to accelerate growth
SAN DIEGO, Calif. – April 17, 2017 – RippleNami, Inc., a provider of a map-based data visualization platform accessed via the cloud, announced today that it far exceeded expectations with the close of its preferred series seed funding. Investors include Bootstrap Incubation LLC from San Diego, Prosper Capital and Capital Innovators from St. Louis, Golden Seeds from Silicon Valley, and Chatham Venture Partners from Indianapolis. The funding raised will fuel operations growth and next-gen development of RippleNami’s pioneering technology.
Parker Hinshaw, Bootstrap’s founder said, “Our experience working with a variety of technology companies drew us to working with RippleNami’s innovative team. Their mapping technology is truly disruptive and fulfills an unmet need in developing nations where RippleNami is creating a transformative shift in how foreign governments, organizations and people connect and collaborate.”
RippleNami’s cloud-based mapping platform provides a new and innovative approach to custom mapping that allows users — governments, corporations, NGOs, and aid organizations – to cost-effectively access a wide variety of real-time information that matters most to them. The technology ingests any kind of data, including blockchain, and connects that information to a map adding depth and meaning that fundamentally changes how data is used. Users are empowered with the ability to make better decisions and collaborate like never before.
And, with its newly created strategic partnership with BanQu, the first-ever blockchain technology platform, RippleNami is now able to offer the three billion people living in extreme poverty a real chance to gain an economic identity. Now, they can access credit and other financial resources, as well as capture and visualize their meaningful life events such as banking, healthcare records, global supply chain and more.
“Golden Seeds’ members are proud to support RippleNami, a woman-led technology company,” said Nancy Hayes, managing director of Golden Seeds. “We were impressed by president and chief executive officer Jaye Connolly-LaBelle’s professional pedigree and her ability to build successful teams and companies.”
RippleNami president and chief executive officer Jaye Connolly-LaBelle said, “We appreciate the exceptional support and counsel that we have received from this seasoned group of investors. Their advice coupled with the proceeds from our capital raise will help us accelerate our growth trajectory and introduce powerful new tools.”
